The 2025 National Attractions Marketing Conference returned to Drayton Manor Theme Park & Resort for a full day of marketing ideas, advice and practical tips, with 20 speakers across keynotes, panels and parallel seminar streams. Chaired by Martin Evans of The Tourism Business, the day combined main-stage sessions in the Tower Suite with breakout seminars in the Park View Suite and a Marketing Services Exhibition running throughout.

The morning opened with Ian Miller (CEO, Crafted) putting AI into perspective, followed by Alex Caley (Continuum Attractions) on behavioural-psychology “marketing nudges,” and Anthony Rawlins (Navigate) on navigating the future of visitor attractions. A panel on unique marketing perspectives brought together Paul Kelly (BALPPA), Abby Cronje (Drayton Manor Theme Park & Resort) and Ben Fry (The Potion’s Cauldron & The Hole in Wand). Parallel seminars covered digital advertising benchmarks from 80 attractions with Liz Dimes (Agility Marketing) and Laura Baxter (Blackgang Chine), and fresh advertising channels with Ben Meakin (Linney) and Chris Morris (Sky AdSmart).

After lunch, Kelly Molson (Kelly Molson Consulting) tackled the agency-versus-attraction relationship, and George Follett (Ticket Tailor) shared innovative ways to grow ticket revenue. Afternoon seminars explored owning your audience beyond the funnel with Neil Lewin (Semantic) and Jonathan Taylor (Phantom Peak), and putting attractions on the silver screen with Seren Welch (SW Consulting) and Luke Flynn (Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich). The closing stretch featured Helen Nurse (Capture 1) on WhatsApp marketing, Nik Wyness (The Tank Museum) on award-winning video marketing, and Georgie Sykes (Castle Howard) on the award-winning “Christmas Sparkle” campaign, before an informal drinks reception.
